After yeas of playing in the shadow of its basketball team, the UC Bearcat football team has plenty of new fans. But apparently not everyone's gotten the message.
It's a missed message that led to major flap at Fountain Square and than a bid apology to UC fans.

People go to the Square to watch Bengals games on the big screen and thought they would be able to do that on Saturday for the UC game against Rutgers. However, when they got there the game on the screen was Ohio State and Purdue.

Several very upset people wrote emails to the school and the city and called radio shows to voice their anger.

Well, 3CDC heard and issued an apology to the school. It says it made a mistake and that it did not mean any disrespect to the school or the team.

Rest assured the same problem will not happen this Saturday. Ohio State plays on the Big 10 network. UC takes the field at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN U.
